Lourdement sanctionné sous le règlement 208 (a) lors de la 14e acte (5e course) pour sa monte sur Coup For Lute (8 journées), le cavalier mauricien a été entendu par la Comité d’Appel de la Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA).

Cette dernière a fait savoir à la Horse Racing Division (HRD) que l’affaire est classée sans suite à ce jour.

''The Appeal Committee of the GRA has informed the HRD that jockey G D Aucharuz's (Coup For Lute) appeal is allowed. The sentence and conviction are quashed.''

La règle 208 (a) stipule que : when riding in a race, a jockey shall : ‘’take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race to ensure that his horse is given the full opportunity to win or obtain the best possible place in the field.’’
