Stewards’ Reports 1. At the start, BIG SMOKE (J Da Silva) was slowly away. 2. At the start, J De Souza (CELESTIAL MAGMA) lost his left stirrup which he could not regain throughout the race, therefore being unable to be of any assistance to his horse. 3. On enquiring, the Jockey stated that the stirrups were fine while he has in the stall but his horse had jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with KALI’S CHAMP (N Marday) due to which the stirrup somehow got unbuckled. The Stewards were satisfied with the explanation of the Jockey after having repeatedly reviewed this incidence. 4. At the start, VALERIN (M P De Oliveira) was tightened for room due to crowding. 5. Near 500 metres, MASTEROFALLISURVEY (NS Batchameah), who was following CELESTIAL MAGMA (J De Souza), was steadied as CELESTIAL MAGMA (J De Souza) dropped back, having no assistance from its Jockey. 6. The Clerk of Scales reported that Jockey J De Souza (CELESTIAL MAGMA) failed to weigh in. The Stewards, after interviewing the Jockey and having deliberated on the matter, resolved to disqualify the horse. Further, Jockey J De Souza has been reprimanded for failing to weigh-in.

Stewards’ Reports 1. Soon after the start, XENON (M Sonaram) was steadied when tightened for room while racing between SACRED NIGHT (B Sooful) and GONTRAVELIN (GD Aucharuz). 2. Near 1400 metres, ENIGMA CODE (B Fayd’herbe) was steadied when tightened for room while racing between SACRED NIGHT (B Sooful) and CASANOVA KING (A Andrews). 3. GONTRAVELIN (GD Aucharuz) was steadied between 1100 metres and 1000 metres. 4. XENON (M Sonaram) was forced to cover extra ground in the early stages of the race.

Soon after the start, SPRY (R Joorawon) lugged inwards due to which CAPTAINS FORT (GD Aucharuz) shifted in and tightened KALGOORLIE (S Bussunt) which in turn tightened INAUGURATION (N Teeha) who lost ground. 3. MASSIMO (J De Souza) shifted in under the use of the whip in the final 150m and inconvenienced BOLLINGER (B Fayd’herbe) who was forced to travel inwards.

Stewards’ Reports 1. CAPTAIN FLYNT (L Goomany) hung-in from 200 metres to the finish and inconvenienced GUNSTON (A L Da Silva) who shifted in and made contact with SILVER HERITAGE (R Joorawon). Jockey L Goomany reported that as he tried to correct his horse, he momentarily lost of his left rein. 2. Jockey T Juglall (LIVERPOOL CHAMP) was reprimanded for persisting with the use of his whip in the right hand while his horse was shifting out and, in the process, went across JOHN HANCOCK (S Rama) when not sufficiently clear off the latter. 3. DUKE’S DOMAIN (C Maujean) and PROSPECTOR (J De Souza) were forced to travel wide for the entire race.

Near 1400 metres, WELL CONNECTED (D Bheekary) over raced and was steadied off the heels of UNIVERSE BOSS (N S Batchameah). 4. LIT (B Sooful) over raced during the race and was steadied on a few occasions.
