The Stewards reviewed the start and it was observed that FOOLS GOLD had jumped out awkwardly and that the inward movement of MILLION DOLLAR MAN was of a lesser degree which was corrected by Jockey B Sooful. Additionally, shortly after the start, there was slight outward movement of PROSPECTOR (R Joorawon) which further tightened HUBBLE and MARSHALL FOCH. However, the interference was due to cascading effect caused by the inward movement of MILLION DOLLAR MAN.
3. Subsequently, Jockey B Sooful signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 208 (d) of the Rules of Racing in that he failed to take every possible and all necessary steps to ensure that he or his horse did not cross, jostle, bunch, interfere with or intimidate another horse and as a consequence a penalty of suspension from riding in races for one Race Meeting was imposed on him.
4. Near 1600m, MILLION DOLAR MAN (B Sooful) was steadied off the heels of SHAH AKBAR (N Teeha).
5. Near the 1500m, MARSHALL FOCH (M P De Oliveira) was eased off the heels of PROSPECTOR (R Joorawon).
6. Near the 300m, MARSHALL FOCH (M P De Oliveira) scraped the inner rail. .
7. While rounding the home turn, FOOLS GOLD (J Allyhosain) weakened and lost ground due to which TSITSIKAMMA DANCE (D Bheekary), who was following, was eased off the heels of the former and shifted out.
8. HUBBLE (K Ramsamy) raced keen in the early part of the race and travelled wide from the 1600m till the 300m and then weakened.

Veterinary Surgeon’s Report
