Stewards’ Reports
1. Jockey N Marday (SEOUL) was questioned with regard to him travelling wide for most part of the race and he advised that his horse had jumped well and was caught wide on the outside of NIMITZ (N Teeha) and since his horse was travelling well, he did not want to break the stride of the horse and bring him back behind runners, therefore, he let his horse race as he found him. He further advised that between 900m 600m, NIMITZ had moved away from the rails forcing his horse to travel further wide. It was put to the Jockey that in this race, his horse had travelled extra ground as compared to any other runner in the race, and this being a longdistance race, he should have tried to come the shortest way home. The Stewards accepted that the horse had commenced to give ground from 500m onwards. Furthermore, Jockey N Marday advised that his horse was not striding out during the race, but the veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
2. Apprentice I Taka (SNOWY MOUNTAIN) has been reprimanded for allowing his horse to shift ground outward while turning for home and further wide soon on straightening for home and in the concluding stages under the use of whip.

Veterinary Surgeon’s Report
