At the start, GLOBAL GLORY (J De Souza) shifted out, as also SHORT CUT (M P De Oliveira) who caused LITE OF MY LIFE (C Maujean) to shift out, and brush with TRAVELIN MAN (M Sonaram) who jostled with KALGOORLIE (J Allyhosain) and then TRAVELIN MAN was awkwardly placed behind the heels of KALGOORLIE (J Allyhosain) and steadied, losing ground. In this interference, App M Sonaram (TRAVELIN MAN) lost his whip. 2. Near 150m, SHORT CUT (MP De Oliveira) commenced to shift ground inwards and near 100m carried LITE OF MY LIFE (C Maujean) in who brushed with ITDAWNEDONME (AL De Silva) and was then eased off the heels of ITDAWNEDONME. All bets on MEZUZAH were ordered to be refunded and betting to be reopened. 2. On a representation made by Mr. J Awotar, the Assistant Trainer of Trainer R Maingard on 01 October 2022, the Stewards permitted HOLLOW POINT (M Sonaram) to be treated with Twyblid. Subsequently, a communique was issued in this regard. 3. Soon after the start, HOLLOW POINT (M Sonaram) was eased off the heels of KING OF COLTS (A L Da Silva). 4. Approaching 800m, ELMO (J Allyhosain) over-raced and shifted out causing KING OF COLTS (A L Da Silva) to shift out and brush with YOHO MIST (J Da Silva). 5. HAKEEM (J Allyhosain) jumped awkwardly inwards and took the running of VAR’S ELUSION (A Andrews). 3. Trainer V Allet and Jockey D Schwarz (BACKPACKER), placed 2nd by the Judge, after viewing the video footage of the race in the Stewards’ Room in the concluding stages, lodged an objection against GRAND VISION (S Bussunt), the provisional Winner, on the grounds that GRAND VISION intimidated and bumped his horse seriously in the closing stages of the race and that it cost him the race. 4. After deliberations, the Stewards could not be satisfied that but for the interference, BACKPACKER could have finished ahead of GRAND VISION, hence, the objection was dismissed and correct weight was declared on the placings as declared by the Judge. 5. Leaving the 200m, GRAND VISION (S Bussunt) shifted ground outwards when ridden under the whip. 6. In the concluding stages of the race, GRAND VISION (S Bussunt) shifted out when ridden under the whip and took the running of VAR’S ELUSION (A Andrews) when not sufficiently clear, causing VAR’S ELUSION to be checked and then brushed with BACKPACKER (D Schwarz). Prior to the effecting of the start, AL JAZEERA (I Taka) charged at the gates which opened fractionally earlier than the other’s gates. As the horse did not get any advantage due to the gates opening prematurely, AL JAZEERA was deemed a runner. 3. At the start, GIRATORIO (D Schwarz) jumped awkwardly outwards brushing with MOON JUMPER (B Sooful). 4. WILDE WORLD (J Allyhosain) jumped awkwardly inwards. 5. NOBLE TRIP (A L Da Silva) shifted in after jumping out and tightened AL JAZEERA (I Taka) onto SAUNA'S CESSNA (S Rama) who was awkwardly placed behind the heels of HONOKALANI (L Goomany) and steadied, losing ground. 6. Leaving the 1300m, SAUNA'S CESSNA (S Rama) drifted outwards and brushed with NOBLE TRIP (A L Da Silva) carried the latter outwards due to which WILDE WORLD (J Allyhosain) travelled wide.
