An inquiry will be open in order to establish why BONNIE PRINCE (D Bheekary) and BOLLINGER (M Sonaram) suffered varying degrees of interference between the 700m and the 600m. At an Inquiry held at the offices of the HRD on 20 December 2022, Jockey A L Da Silva was charged with a contravention of Rule 208 (d). Jockey Da Silva pleaded not guilty to the charge however, was found guilty as charged. After considering the evidence in the matter, the Stewards imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of 3 race meetings.
