General 1. Prior to the commencement of this race, the instructions for all riders were taken by the Stipendiary Stewards. In this regard, each of the instructions matched the racing pattern of the horses.

of guilt for a contravention of Rule 43.2.2 in that as the rider of the horse JACK TARR, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to DOUBLETHINK (M. Sonaram) at the 800m. A suspension from riding in races for a period of two race meetings was imposed. Additionally, Apprentice T. Ladouceur will be required to complete
two further barrier trials to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards prior to riding again.

However, approaching the 1000m, CLOUD SEEDER elected to restrain and take a trail. This resulted in CLOUD SEEDER briefly being inconvenienced at the 700m when INSTINCTIVE POWER (S. Donohoe reported that the saddle on INSTINCTIVE POWER slipped back in the running. This was confirmed by a member of the Board. Jockey S. Donohoe appeared before the Board and was questioned regarding the frequency of his saddle slips recently. In this regard, he explained that the manner in which horses were being saddled were, in his opinion, not suited to his style of riding which was the reason for the frequency of the slips. Jockey S. Donohoe was advised by the Board to ensure that when checking his saddle, if he is unhappy, he ought to resaddle his horse, if necessary. 5. GLOBAL GLORY (M. De Oliveira) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. 6. In the concluding stages, INSTINCTIVE POWER (S. Donohoe) showed a tendency to drift out. 7. Jockey O. Sola appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised against the practice of using his whip down the shoulder of his horse (GO JEWEL) while in the drawn position. Jockey O. Sola was issued with a warning.

This gelding has been suspended by the Stipendiary Stewards for seven days after which, it will be required to complete a jump out in a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

De Oliveira) switched in to continue its run when awkwardly placed on the outside of GOOD BUDDY (G. Aucharuz) which was hanging in, in the straight, proving difficult to assist. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine GOOD BUDDY (G. Aucharuz).

After the Veterinary Surgeon examined STOPALLTHECLOCKS, this gelding was withdrawn on Veterinary advice.

Goolgar (CHARLIE SQUADRON) signed an admission of guilt in respect of a contravention of Rule 43.2.4 in that he made an excessive celebratory gesture prior to the finish of the race. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed.
