5. Jockey K. Ramsamy (BELLAGIO KING) was questioned regarding the riding of his horse
in the final 300m of the race, wherein he was found to be a mere passenger on the horse.
The Jockey stated that the horse was hanging in badly and also that the saddle slipped
towards the right rendering him unable to assist the horse any further. It was noted that the
Jockey had reported the horse hanging in but not the saddle slip. Jockey K. Ramsamy was
informed to report all matters that had affected his riding and also to ride his horse out to
the post, failing which further action shall be initiated.

7. Apprentice B. Soodoo (EL PATRON) was questioned regarding his positioning of his horse
in the initial stages of the race where he was asked to sit up in front. The Apprentice stated
that soon after the jump, he lost his rein whereby the horse drifted out and bumped
CAPTAIN'S CONSORT (M. De Oliveira) and thereafter, he could only get a fourth
position in the race. The Apprentice was however informed to follow instructions in the
race. This will not be deemed a qualifying ride for the Apprentice.

out and he suspected that the horse was lame, however, the horse was subjected to
Veterinary examination.
6. Jockey M. De Oliveira, rider of WALKING ON WINGS was questioned and the Jockey
stated that his horse was not striding out well in the initial stages and had a tendency to lug

in, in most parts of the race, whereby he could not get a proper position and ride his horse
out to his best efforts. The Trainer, S. Mahadia, stated that the horse was galloping with its
head high and was running a bit green and in his opinion, the horse needs a tongue tie in its
next run. He also stated that he was very disappointed with the horse’s run.
7. WALKING ON WINGS (M. De Oliveira), passing the 1000m, raced keen having SIEGE
RAM (R. Joorawon) travelling on its outside and they brushed each other.

the 150m. Jockey R. Perez was advised to be more careful in not causing interferences
during races.
