Stewards Reports 1. LIT (N. Teeha) was withdrawn by the Stipendiary Stewards after being presented incorrectly equipped. An inquiry will be opened into this scratching. 2. CONSTITUTIONAL (K. Ramsamy) overraced in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, this horse compounded at the 600m and gave ground to the field quickly. As a consequence of this incident, SENOR'S GUEST (N. Batchameah) was momentarily inconvenienced and THE HITMAN (R. Perez) briefly raced wide whilst both runners attempted to evade CONSTITUTIONAL. 3. At the 200m, SENOR'S GUEST (N. Batchameah) was brushed in by THE HITMAN (R. Perez) which was hanging in between the 250m and the 150m. 4. Jockey K. Ramsamy, reported that CONSTITUTIONAL did not stride out freely in the running. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 5. Jockey N. Batchameah reported that SENOR'S GUEST made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. Starting Report 1. SERGEANT YORK (S. Donohoe) brushed the left-hand side gate, lost one length and was slow into stride. Thereafter, this gelding was ridden in order to obtain a forward position in accordance with the Trainer’s instructions. 2. CRAZY CHARLIE (R. Perez) lost two lengths and was slow into stride. 3. JACALAC (J. Allyhosain) lost one length and was slow into stride. Stewards Reports 1. SECRET CIRCLE (R. Joorawon) was ridden aggressively from the jump, however, after identifying that he would be unable to lead, Jockey R. Joorawon elected to take cover in the running. Notwithstanding racing with cover, this gelding overraced in the early stages.

Donohoe), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 4. Jockey R. Perez signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 29.2.15, in that he used his whip down the shoulder of CRAZY CHARLIE, whilst in the drawn position. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of Rs 2,500 was imposed on him.

2. Prior to the start of this race, Trainer C. Daby approached the Board and requested to scratch BLESS MY PATH (I. Taka). The basis of his request was that he felt that the track had deteriorated too severely for BLESS MY PATH to compete today. Accordingly, this gelding was scratched by the Stipendiary Stewards.

In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 3. EMERALD BAND (D. Bheekary) did not stride out freely in the running. As a consequence of this report, he assisted this gelding with the greatest vigour possible under the circumstances in the straight.
